First of all, it's against the rules to use the TABs forum to tell us how bad TABs are to our musicianship. If you're here to trash TABS, take it somewhere else.

That being said, there are plenty of transcription sites out there. It depends on what types of music you like.

Here are a few:

Thanks WR

You have given me the sheet music to Shaft. God bless you.

I now have the will to learn to do this the right way.

Don't be a bitch. Mind your own business. There's no need to antagonize.

+1 on this. I am trying still trying to figure out why:

1- you would be looking for said tabs if you feel there are so awful.

2-you would come on here and antagonize people who peruse the tab forums, who obviously use them- and still expect them to help you.

Work on that bedside manner a bit, bud. Some of us are not 14 years old and don't have hours to spend listening to music in an attempt to transcribe music- we would prefer to put the time into our playing technique and enjoying the instrument.

That being said, I would say try something like MUSE or GUITAR PRO, which by way, can teach you a TON about music. I've learned more from Guitar Pro than I EVER LEARNED listening to the same piece of music over and over in attempt to hear what is being played. They transcribe all instrument voices many times, the tabs are free, and you can mute voices and play around with them in about anyway imaginable. Extremely powerful and very versatile.
