| | | | Is there anyway to play the stairway to heaven intro on a bass? Just wondering. I looked up the guitar tab and it used those two pointless strings on a guitar, so I was wondering how to play it correctly on a bass.

G to D, D to A, A to E) and move it up five frets. Stuff on the guitar's high E gets put on the G string 9 frets higher. Change the chords/power chords into single notes or 2-note power chords.
Sorry if any of that sounds wrong or badly explained, it's nearly midnight here in Australia and I'm tired. |

e e e e e e e e
E4 A4 C5 E5 F#5 E5 B4 F#5
e e e e h
G5 E5 C5 G5 D5
e e e q q e
G4 G4 A4 A4 B4 A4
Repeat
Sorry it doesn't line up right |

They should have a *No Classical Thump or Higher Ground* in the bass section at music stores |

| | | For what, tabbing the intro to stairway to heaven on bass? I'm pretty sure led zeppelin doesnt have a copyright on a BASS tab of stairway to heaven, seeing as JPJ didnt play this on bass. But hey, put my name at the top of your list |
