Trying to write tabs, uneven font, help?

i'm trying to write a tab at the moment but its all uneven, i've heard that there are certain fonts you can use to make it all even, can anyone help me on this one?

all my tabs end up being like this:

thats two bars of the song i'm tabbing, and the bars are all uneven, so if someone could help me get them straight htat would be great.

will give you an even font for tabs

Also, on forums, if you insert your tab in CODE brackets, your spacing evens out
