I'm toying with the idea of playing bass.... or guitar in a tribute band. Anyone ever done this before? I just googled and searched for about 30 minutes but I haven't heard anything of it.
For what it's worth--I'm in East Lansing, Michigan (not too far from Detroit), and I want to be in a hard rock cover band, ESPECIALLY an Iron Maiden cover band... but if not that then AC/DC or Zeppelin or something of that nature. Anybody know of bands that need either bass or guitar? Or where I can find them?
