If so, what were your experiences?
I've been offered a chance to support a local artist at Musexpo this year in L.A.
Seems like a good deal, free trip to L.A. and a chance to make some good connections. It looks like we're playing at the Viper Room.
Have any of you played there before? How does the room sound? What should we expect as far as audience goes? Do I have to be worried about being haunted by River Phoenix's ghost? (
too tasteless?)
I admit I don't know a whole lot about Musexpo, but from the sounds of it we'll be playing to mostly A&R reps, but is it also open to the public?
Either way, I'm excited to go to L.A. as I've never been there before!
