In a band again!

A band auditioned me and a singer for their band yesterday and we were both invited to join

The singer is bit younger than the rest of us and wasn't familiar with a lot of the material but we still nailed 7 songs pretty much straight off the bat, with a few others very close to being ready.

They play a pretty decent set list with a lot of "bread and butter" rock songs on the cover scene.

They use an agent and reckon at the rate we went on the audition/rehearsal, we should be working by New Years. They won't play for less than $200AUD a man.

It's my first time in a serious band with only one guitar so there's plenty of space for me to fill too, but I'm up for the challenge indeed!

Thanks guys.

This is the kind of stuff we have been or will be playing:

AC/DC - A Whole Lotta Rosie, TNT & Jailbreak
ZZ Top - Sharp Dressed Man, Tush, La Grange
Thin Lizzy - Boys are Back in Town
Steppenwolf - Born To Be Wild
Deep Purple - Smoke on the Water
Green Day - When I Come Around, Holiday
The Angels - No Secrets
The Offspring - Self Esteem, Come Out and Play
Billy Idol - White Wedding
Gary Moore - Walking By Myself
NOFX - Turning Japanese
Metallica - Wherever I May Roam
etc
etc

We might have some rehearsal/gig scheduling issues, since I don't jam Saturday arvo's (family) and can't gig more than twice a week and despite telling them that, they seem to still want to rehearse Saturday arvo's and go away country all weekend gigging

Bands. People. Love em
