I will make this short. I went to practice tonight with the newly formed power trio i am/was a member of.
Our guitarist said as he got out of his car he needed to talk first so dont bring in my bass and gearbag. We practice at our drummers home which is nice and we sit down to hear he(guitarist) is leaving the group.

He went on to say there are problems over the time (1 weekly practice 3 hours) God and his wife's plans on the direction and music choices he has made....blues , power trio , Cream, SRV, Hendrix etc. He used to play in a Christian rock bands but wanted to branch out. I know from a conversation a month ago his wife didnt like the direction he was going into and he was racing thru practice to hurry home.

We had only been together about 3 months but had 16-20 good songs already nailed including two rockin originals with Christian lyrics the guitarist wrote.
The 3 of us are all grounded workin guys with the same goals musically...local gigs a couple a month we bonded well no drugs or drinkin or even smoking and ...well we rocked musically the guitarist was the best i have ever had the pleasure to play with a real monster and our drummer who switched to drums again was killin it both also sang really well. I had really gotten it down after playin R&R for a couple of years and finally had the band of my dreams.... Oh well. The guitarist is a great guy ,the drummer and old friend i played with in another band and i enjoy being around. The drummer has a chance to go back to his old band and might do so or see if i can dig someone up but hes funny about new people at his home. I have a few options in the area ones a country band which i never thought of but they also do some blues and classic rock another is an established power trio but its a drive. Gee i said i would keep it short ...sorry im just blue i guess...thanks for letting me get this out.
