Band Contract - Examples etc.

Howdy.

I searched through history and couldn't find any quick threads on what most of you have in your band booking contract or "playing agreement"

I'm more than willing ot post the final of what we come up with for overall use.

Maybe it's the landlord in me or the interest in a great image - I don't want the dorky average "date time $$$" thing..

Kind of setting expectations for both sides.

Our destination are Casinos etc who bounce bands that are not prepared.

Any examples?
What do you have in yours?

Thank you

My booking agent, Absey Entertainment (yes, I'm in the Twin Cities) uses a pretty standard template that covers the basics and may have change the accomidations clause based on what the venue gives us (beer, food, guest list, etc.).

Are you booking yourself? What's the name of the band?

We're booking ourselves right now.. working on the packaging. Have been around the block enough to know it's stupid to shop managment until it's all packaged, tested and ready.

We have several paid gigs (bars, parties etc) in the next few months... we anticipate shopping for management this fall.

Tim

Here are a couple threads on the subject that might help you out:

Gig contracts?
Sample performance contracts
If the bar cancels the night, does the band get paid?
