We don't have a "band day", but we do get together outside of the band setting. We'll hang out and watch movies, go get dinner, go see other bands play. I think what he's getting at is if you want your band to have longevity, you all need to get along with one another. You should treat each other more like brothers and less like co-workers.

I've been with my current group for almost 1.5 years so far, seems to be working out well. *knock on wood*

We don't have 'band day', but everyone in our band has become friends and we all like to hang with each other outside of band events. Like last week, thru misommunication, we only had 1/2 the band show up for rehearsal, so we used that time to review some video footage of ourselves and just lazy about, meeting people on chatroulette. We gained a few fans that way. Yesterday 4/5 of the band came out to play dodgeball, which I do every sunday. Sometimes my band will go to my gf's band's shows, as we're all fans. If Im going to a party I always extend them an invite. And if I were to host some kind of get together with my friends they'd be at the top of the list.
