Band Merch

Where do you guys get them from?

My band is getting ready to start playing some pretty big shows and we don't really have any merch at the moment.

Where do you guys get your band shirts and other merch from? We have some logos and such ready to be put on shirts but we don't know where we could get some good quality but affordable shirts.

Need to have around 50-100 made, would also like to setup a merch store online so we could sell shirts from there. Any of you guys doing that?

One last question, how much are you tipically selling your shirts and other merch for at gigs? And what other kind of merch do you see being popular?

I get top quality cotton T's, spaghetti strap tanks and thong panties made at a small vendor here in town, and shamelessly sell them for $20.00 at shows. I can't keep them in stock.

I have a new load coming in on Friday.

My brother Martin has been in the T-shirt and embroidery business for 25 years and has a really strong product with good prices. He can set you up and ships all over the country. Their logo is 'no job too small' but he has huge clients. www.apparelmanufacturing.com and ask for Martin. 770-638-1100! Atlanta Dave

We got a place in Knox, but I'll definitely be checking him out since he's only a stones throw away from here.

Pretty fair prices for standard tees. You can upload your design or create your own and they will proof it for you.

My friends over at Unified Manufacturing, a CD duplication company, offers merch printing and custom packaging. It's like a one-stop shop for bands. They can make ur CDs, posters, merch, dropcards, etc etc etc. What I love about them is that they can make really awesome t-shirt boxes. They got this instant quote for tees and other products on their site with over 1000 items.

We used to use tshirtland.com but we found a semi local guy with unbeatable prices. He did 2 color printing on 4 different color shirts, even did some childrens shirts (which i know required extra screens to be made) no minimum order, no set up charge, etc etc... all for 4.50 a shirt.

We get our shirts done trough a Toledo, Ohio based shop called Aces High. They do excellent work and are able to make all of our designs' transition to shirt format really look great. Here's a sample of some of our other merch that we have as well.

We have wristbands kinda like the livestrong bands that were popular a while back. They are a great piece of low cost merch that you can sell for cheap/give away, they really help get your name out there.

Wristbands are a good idea....will be looking into that.

We have a couple T designs which we sell for 20 online but we always have some kind of deals at shows...bundled with CD or digital download cards.
Stickers and picks.

We will be ordering a limited number of baseball caps soon also.

Kingfish, I don't know who does your artwork, but they deserve a raise! That's some cool looking merch, and your posters in the other thread look awesome too.

My band gets T-shirts, buttons, and patches from MerchKitchen.com. They have better prices than any of the local places around, and a lot of the online ones. CDs from Diskmaker.com. It may be a little on the expensive side, but they're good quality. And we're getting stickers done at Ticketprinting.com, after anther local band recommended them. Good prices, and the sticker I bought from the band is pretty good at what it's meant to do.

Our guitarist is actually the one who does all of our artwork so we pay him absolutely nothing lol. He likes it though and has a passion/knack for graphic design
