I've been loving the name Arcade Brigade that i came up with by myself for some more electro/rock stuff if been writing.

had the name in my head for a few days, decide to google it to make sure its not already a band and low and behold, it is the FAN CLUB for the band "the love arcade".

so the name is in use..... but not as a band.... in a different country....

do you think i can use Arcade Brigade or no?

The rules on band names is very vague. Basically as I understand it whatever band becomes famous, and famous is hard to measure, get to keep the band name. They might send you a cease and discist (sp) order but theres not alot they could do if its a fan clubs name. I would guess youd be totally fine but if you want to avoid problems down the road you may want to switch your name. If the bands from another town and never gets very big your probably fine.

If it's in a different country, the chances of some kind of conflict, or them even finding out, seem pretty minimal at best. I would go ahead with the name. If they actually do contact you, you could always alter the name slightly later on.
