this forum thingy is sorta like a servey and yeah so please take it, it will help my band!!!THANKS ALOT!!!

1. Do you think 'the band downstairs' is a coool and funny name???
2. Our band is starting to learn our instruments and we are learning so whats an easy song for the whole band to play???
3.Is it alrite for a bass guitarist to use a pick???

IMO
1. names dont matter too much, as long as its not totally lame, and yours isnt, its fine.
2. it depends on the style of music youd like to play, but generally green day songs are good for beginning bands.
3. i think its fine for a bassist to use a pick, but i would highly recommend learning to use your fingers as well. even if you dont wanna read music or learn theory, its always a good idea to be proficient with a pick and fingers.

1. Sure, use it for now, why not
2. I hate them, but Blink 182 songs are pretty easy.
3. It's alright, but MAKE SURE that you can play equally as well (if not much better) with your fingers. Both techniques work in different situations.
