Band Photos Using Picture Frames

hey guys, we are trying to think of ideas for the front/ back of our EP, some creative band photo shoot type deal that will definitely make us look cooler than we actually are. anyway I came up with the idea of us dressing super trendy like the kids do now a days in front of a solid white background, and getting each one of us to hold a picture frame in front of our faces. Does anyone know of a band that has done this? just checking.

I seem to remember some Talking Heads promo shots like that, but I'm too lazy to search to see if I'm right. Besides, who cares, if you like the idea then do it.

There was an advertising campaign for Canon cameras done like this, but not any band's I've heard of (apart from the ones mentioned above)

That's in the eye of the beholder. Might work, might not.

I've seen that before a few times. Don't remember where.

If you have photos elsewhere in the piece, perhaps each holds a photo of another's face in front of his own. The other band photos show us the real people.

Don't dress significantly differently than you already do for a gig. Especially don't dress like everyone else does (if you don't already) because then you'll look like every other band trying really hard to be trendy. I remember a while back browsing through purevolume (or one of those music websites like that) and every band photo was pretty much interchangeable. Same clothes, same swoopy hair, same poses, same facial expressions... Don't try to blend in with the pack.

Now, if you're a bunch of middle-aged parents and you're going for a bit more of a funny band picture, then super-trendy clothing might work...
