Band Tshirts, yeah I did a search

Sign in to disble this ad
I don't have a place locally to get them madw with our logo, is there somewhere online to get them done, and how do you do the reverse image for white image on a black Tshirt someone was telling me I had to do.

Also, is there a DIY version that would be cheaper?

I Googled 'Poplar Bluff Mo. screen printer' and got lots of hits.

This place rocks. Fast turn around. You can upload everything. They do stickers and posters as well.

I'm in the bible belt, not easy getting people to take your money when they feel its too offensive or they think we're sinners....so local has been ruled out.

Not that we have much on the logo or name...just a skull and some dripping letters, nothing offensive but the two places locally won't touch us. They will print out the Poplar Bluff Mules Tshirts.....geeez

As for reversing the image, are you using Photoshop? If so, all you have to do is open your image, go to edit --> adjustments and click on "invert." It will reverse the image.

It seems like the big ones were hit. I've personally used cafepress and discmakers. I recommend both.

The thing is with cafepress, you don't have any minimum order, that's probably why everything costs so much. Bulk pricing is where you make a profit. But at $18 a pop, it would still be a tough sell for a local band. Unless it had a nice pic of your hot girlfriend on it. If the goal of the T-shirt is to build exposure and promote the band, cafepress seems like an expensive way to do it. If you're only paying $4-5 a shirt, it's easier to give them away than when it's $16.

Personally, I'd rather take the gamble and buy a bunch of T-shirts for $5 a pop, sell them for $10 and hopefully sell enough shirts to cover what I had left over (if any). And if I wind up stuck with a box of T-shirts, I can still use them as work shirts or give them to charity.

www.printfection.com had much better quality than cafepress, I've used em both.

Maybe post a picture of your logo here and let us help you with the reversing?

There's an AC/DC tribute band in Canada that own a merch/printing company. I've used them for my Sabbath band. We had men's and ladies shirts done and got awesome quality. Here's their website: http://www.bcdc.ca/

spraypaint and a stencil. That's how I used to make a lot of my shirts.

I will keep this in mind.

Funny enough, we sold about 5 or so & gave away about 10 before the band split up. I still rock the old Human Machine tee every now and then. There's a pic of FunkMetalBass on the site somewhere wearing one on stage. We traded Wah pedals and I used one as extra padding for the package.

Make sure to get multiple quotes. I've found prices can very wildly from shop to shop for the exact same quality and quantity of shirts.

I make my own. I built a 4-color press and print them myself. It's not that hard to do and the cost of the materials is about the same as the first run of 100-shirts and then you can make the additional at cost.
