Bass player needed for working classic rock band (Seacoast NH)
Reply to: sm57@comcast.net

We are a classic rock band, 4 piece, in need of bass player.

You must at least be able to sing back up.

We work every weekend, at least 7 nights per month, and make between $100 and $170 per night in clubs, more for private gigs. We have no manager, no truck, we book ourselves, and mix from the stage.

We seldom rehearse. We decide on new songs and come to the gig prepared, we talk about the arrangement, and then go for it. It keeps everyone on their toes, and usually it works fine.

This is a fun band to play in. There is room for artistic expression, the band books way in advance, the money is decent and improving, and since most gigs are within 10-20 miles of Portsmouth, we sleep at home every night.

Send me an email with a copious resume, your current situation, what you want to do, and a cell phone. If you're playing tell me where we can see you. I will keep it confidential.

We currently have a bass player and are under no time pressure to make this change. However, we will make the change as soon as you are ready.

Send your email, mp3, website, resume to sm57@comcast.net

Thank you.
