Big Day! New Band!

I'm playing in a band for the first time in 5 years! I've forgotten what band practice is like. It's been far too long, and I am stoked things came together the way they did...

Anyways...go me!

That's where I was a couple of years ago. Once you get back in the groove it's all good and you'll kick yourself for having not been in a band for all those years.

Plus there is all this new gear to buy............

For sure! A couple of hours before rehearsal I bought a 15" Cab so I wouldn't have to drag my 8x10. Best move of the day, both guitar players were playing bigger combo amps, the 15 really complimented them. The 8X10 would have been waaaayyy to much. Next i'd like a 2X10 to get some of those highs that are lacking.

Yeah, playing in a band means you need more gear so you don't have to haul around your heavy cabs to practice all the time

I like the 2x10 + 1X15 setup. The 4 ohm load gives me the max output from my amp, and it is a good balance of sound.
