Just saw Black Label Soceity at the Congress theatre in Chicago. Man, they tore the roof off the place. Despite the awful acoustics and echo of the place they still sounded great.
First two opening bands were good too. Actual metal bands none of this colledge rock puberty scream or death vocals stuff.
I think Zakk picked bands that you could actually stand to listen too, unlike ozzfest where all the openers are no names and are going to scream at you for 45 minutes.
O by the way, his new record it one of his best. He keeps improving. |
