Just posted this on Craigslist, but thought I might get better luck here. Excuse the businesslike quality of this post - I was afraid of getting lots of flakes from CL...
My band, Burden|Hand is headlining a show confirmed for Thursday, June 16 at Last Day Saloon and we're looking for one more band. We're going to do a great deal of promotion for this show and want to have the bill set up as soon as possible. The ideal band is one that:
- is solid
- is not gigging in San Francisco the week before
- has samples for us to check out
- will do some promotion
- can expect to draw at least 25 people on a Thursday, and
- is not too hard, not too soft...

http://www.daliclock.com). Please check out some samples before writing. We're not looking for someone to sound exactly the same, but it'd be great to play with folks that don't scare people away! Both groups will be doing some serious promotion...at Burden|Hand's last show, we brought in more than 80 people.
We're booking this ourselves. After Last Day's cut, pay will be based on draw. We're not taking anything extra out. We're nice people, and hoping that this show can lead to future shows together. It's more fun to play (and easier to book) shows with other bands you know!
