Just okay.

I wouldn't count on packing the floor if you do faithful Jimi jams.

A clever make-over that is more dancer-friendly might work.

We do Little Wing as well. We often get some really great "guest" guitarists and this is the one song they will pull from our list to play. Just did this last Sunday with a fine player from "Get The Led Out" in fact. It was a smashing success. This was at bar that loves classic rock and blues. Love playing at this place. The patrons are actually there in search of "good live music". We do stuff like Elizabeth Reed and Black Magic Woman for this crowd if that helps set the "tone" of what we're doing.

"Can You See Me?", "Crosstown Traffic", and "Fire" are both pretty straightforward rock songs, I've also always been partial to "Remember" which is a bit more R&B mood than most Hendrix tunes, and if your front man can pull off "Are You Experienced?" that would be killer.

I'd say "Purple Haze", "Little Wing", "Voodoo Child (slight return)", are pretty played out, but I guess you could make the same argument against "Fire" although I don't personally hear too many people covering it myself.

A big thumbs up for "Manic Depression" but good luck finding a drummer that can pull off being Elvin Jones/Mitch Mitchell for 5 minutes. Needless to say my band will not be playing that one.
