Clock for gig?

Sign in to disble this ad
My band is looking for a small clock that is fairly well lite so we know where we are in a set....

Any ideas or suggestions. I have looked in auto parts stores and none are bright enough.

Thanks, for $169 I think I will pass... (My main bass I use on these gigs cost me less than that)

Great pedal (not sure why it does A/B'ing too). I've been imagining such a device for years -good that someone made it, but the price is crazy. Should cost $20.

My late 80's rack had a cheapo alarm clock on a rack shelf next to an Alesis Midiverb or MidiFeX(right side directly under the power conditioner). Clock cost about $15 back then. Now they're super cheap:

I have a wristwatch. I've worn one of these devices (on my wrist) as part of my everyday routine for many years. They work really good, you just look down at your wrist and you can tell what time it is instantly. Its not that amazing, but I'm sure you could find a functional one for much less than $169.

What you need is one of those projected display clocks. You could even project it on the wall behind the band just like a backdrop.

Seriously though isn't one guy with a watch or a small travel clock(like I use)enough?

What?? You are inferring that you can actually strap a time-keeping device onto your wrist.. and STILL play? Sorry, but my imagination can only go so far

Are you guys trying to tell me that my pocket watch is obsolete?

*edit* Target online has a LCD alarm clock with 2 inch tall display for $12.99

LOL That'd be a GREAT sig.

O.T. I think I saw a guy once with a contraption strapped onto his wrist that amazingly resembled what you guys are talking about. That's *IF* my memory serves me correctly.

I knew I would get the watch / cellphone thing. We currnetly use cellpohne but it is pretty obvious we check them before we diced if we have to play Brown eyed girl or mustang sally one more time before a break, just don't want to look so obivious checking time. (None of us wear a watch, though we may make the guitard wear a drool bib)

Take a look at Radio Shack for the $15 LED clocks. Many bands in town here use them.
