Soul, Rock, AND country? Does it actually hang together or is this band just one big train wreck from start to finish?

If they want to sound like down-home southern boys, I would say to pick some local landmark or street name or something and name themselves after that. Stone Mountain Mud Wrestlers or the Pitt Street Cherries or something, I don't know. All band names ARE stupid, aren't they?

I always wondered what bands with "naughty words" in their name are thinking. Though some are funny, I'd think they would turn off a lot of people. There's a regional band called Cribshi*ters and I have to admit, I like it, though.

I've seen a lot of posts saying how terrible their band's name was in years gone by, but not many actually saying the horrible name. I wanna see the awfulness!! I was in a band in high school that was like Menudo. The band had been around for at least four years before I got in and was still around after I graduated. Freshmen would come in, play with upper classmen and the name just stuck. I always thought the name was horrible and embarrassing, but it was an institution in high school. For all I know, it's still around 25 years later. The band name? Knights in Leather. Still brings a shiver to my spine.

I had some friends that briefly out together a joke band called Cocktopus. I was always disappointed they weren't together long enough o design a logo.

England, I think.

On to bad names, the first band I was in used to occasionally change our name just for laughs. One of my favorites was "Dixie Pricks". The second band I was in went by "Free Beer" for a while, which I gather is quite an old and oft-recycled idea.

Instead of the GA Boyz, could you be "Bieber, Jr."?

Kid Rick is now getting to be an old guy called "kid".

The Oak Ridge Boys should change their name to the "Oak Ridge Men"

The Beach Boys also should now be the Beach Men.

The "New Kids on the Block" should be banned from performing.

And Josie and the pussycats should be Josie and the dogs.
