Do any of your bands have street teams?

I know that some bands do, bands with long lasting reputation. But do lesser established bands use them? Is having a street more related to the band's initiative to launch one, or is it that kind of thing that just happens, like one day you realize that some fans are helping you promote a show and you had nothing to do about it?

Thanks

street teams are great if you can get people to work for free (so having die hard fans really helps).

Still trying to build one myself...

I barely make enough in a band to justify playing a gig, let alone hire a street team.
