But During? NEVER! I think it looks bad. |

Couldn't this be considered a sub-thread to "Farting during a show"? |

after is probably better, but if there is plenty of time before your set, before is cool. I wouldn't recommend eating right beforehand if A) you sing, and B) you jump around, or C) if you are going swimming
heheheh |

I'll hide the rest away until I'm done loading up my gear after the show and then scarf the other half down.

| | | Only thing appropriate during is drinking water, IMO.
Eating? Lots of time the venue has provided a meal as part of pay-out.
Here, this can be moved to "Humor" if necessary:
During a gig at a very upscale restaurant in Sedona AZ, the bandleader told us: "Don't eat lunch! They're going to serve us dinner before we play!"
When I saw the menu during load-in I was drooling!
...Filet wrapped in prosciutto, Oak-Plank broiled Copper River Salmon,
Lobster with lemon butter, Angel hair pasta with Rock Shrimp,
Fresh Ahi tuna, and so on...
Man, I was hungry!
Then the Manager came over and told us:
"Here's your Menu- same thing that we offer the staff for their meal":
Hamburger
Hot Dog
Cheeseburger
Fries
Choose ONE (Fries were included though).
Unlimited Sodas or (1) Cocktail...

Show Biz | yeh, i hate when that happens. we just did a fancy gig - we got so excited when we saw a scallop bar! filet mignon! roasted veggies!
then we were escorted to the back for turkey sandwiches.
ah well, free food and a paycheck. can't complain, can we?
no really....can we???

Unless you find a way to tastefully plug the food that the place serves. Which is pretty much impossible.
That cold stone is irresistable though.
My mix in includes: Sweet Cream, Graham Cracker Pie crust, Whipped cream (mixed in, because it volumizes the final product so much), and almonds..
Sorry for the disrailment...

Tomorrow we're at the local golf club for a party and I'll arrive 90 min ahead of the sound check for a few ribs :-)))))
