Mostly because its a recoverable screw up. Just sounds a little funny that way. |

Mostly because its a recoverable screw up. Just sounds a little funny that way. | We had an incident like that a few weeks ago. Most of us started playing one song and the guitar/singer starts belting out a completly different song. It took a while for any of us to settle down enough to play anything after that. |

Our singer/guitarist uses a capo, and her most frequent mistake is starting songs in the wrong key. This gets pretty funny at gigs when we both start in the wrong key and then both change keys at the same time to keep the song going. We laugh, stop, then she switches her capo and then we get it right. There was also one time where we were playing a gig infront of 3 people, and for the last song, we all starting playing at 3 different tempos and it would've been salvagable if I hadn't forgotten the bass line Its ok, after stopping and making fun of each other we nailed the song with a pretty sweet bass solo in it.
And there are lots of jokes/stories told at rehearsals, so thats always something to laugh about. There was also this one time when we were recording, where I fornicated (not really) with a blow up donkey and that ended up being recorded and used as backing vocals to a song (ok, only in the donkey version). There are plenty of things going on at rehearsals/gigs that make us all laugh, which is one of the reasons I like my band.
