What is your take on pay?

My position regardless of the circumstance is you should get an equal cut.

Blue
Well, we usually play for 90-120 minutes and get $500.00 on average. We split it equally between the five of us.

Do you want to play out more?

What's holding you back?

Actually, while I admit my ignorance of the minute details of the game, I still believe a quarterback cannot win games without linebackers, "regardless of your nitpicking my analogy!"

Besides, I was merely reusing Bassbully's fine point about us being like "linebackers" and adding "quarterback" to the idea to enlarge the point in a (hopefully) non-boring (read: too much non-bass detail!) way... I didn't actually state that a linebacker plays on the field with a quarterback.

mkay?

Relax...... I said I got your analogy. I agreed with you enough to expand on your analogy.

Nah, a mandolin or flute player is more like a punter. Just used on certain plays, not all of them like a lineman would.

You guys know, While you may view me as merely " the bass player".

I personally reject that notion, I'm much more than a " bass player"

I'm Mr. Rock & Roll.

Oh in Rush...hecks yes. I was pointing out that Geddy's one of the few out front bass players and we don't stand out or compare.

No its cool remember when I first discovered Rush I was a guitar player and was trying to figure out how Alex played like that.
I did not know at first that Alex was not singing and it was Geddy till about a year later and seen them on a TV show

Bully,

I'm from a different generation and pretty narrow in many ways.

Band culture was different for my generation. I feel differently about a lot of band and player protocol and I probably think I'm a lot more than what I actually am.

But the answer is "no" I'm not kidding.

Ummmm.......ok. Just remember Blue to lighten up some and enjoy what you do while you can. Don't take this so seriously cuz trust me at our level nobody else does. It's only music nobody dies (hopefully)

I'm a bit youunger than you but we share allot of that Generation but really Mr. ROCK STAR?

I know what your saying, and no way at 60 years old do I take myself seriously at any level.

No, I'm not a "Rock Star" , I'm Mr. Rock & Roll. There's a big difference.
