Favorite Local/Regional Venue

I did a search and didn't find this thread (not exactly) but I am wondering what some of your favorite local/regional venues are? I live in Athens, GA and we have some great venues around here. Some of my favorites are:

The Caldedonia Lounge - Small but great staff and sound
The 40watt - One of the top venues in the Country (I used to work there)
Farm 255 - I love playing outside when the weather is nice.
Georgia Theatre - HUGE with a great sound system

Can't wait to hear your favorites

I really liked playing Club Clearview in Deep Ellum. Club Dada was nice too, the sound guy there really knows his stuff and stays on top of his game.

The Orbit Room in Grand Rapids Michigan is a great venue to see a show. It's an old movie theater converted to a bar. HUGE stage, and an even bigger sound system. Probably seats around 500 people.

Although I've never played on the stage, Piere's in Fort Wayne is my favorite venue to see live bands. I've never really been to a 'bad sounding' concert there. Capacity up to 2k people. When 311 came to Piere's I bet there was every bit of 2k people there.

Drinks are kind of expensive but the stage is huge and they have a $1 million stage/sound system. Alot of fun there.

I haven't played the big stages in Chicago, but...

Schuba's: Beautifull woodwork and impecable sound. It has a kind of Churchish look to it, and the staff is very accomadating. I've only had the chance to play there once, but I can see why musicians like to play there and it's so hard to get a gig.

When I go to see a show I love the Riviera. Good sound and medium size, so even if you are late getting there, you're not going to get a bad view.

I have played Schuba's a few times and have enjoyed myself each time I was there. I also played a place in Berwyn called Fitzgerald's at least I think that's the name. We opened for John Doe there.
