Finding bandmates

Does anyone know of a board such as this for lead vocalists?
Seems no matter what spot your trying to fill, when that spot becomes vacant, they're no suitable candidates on earth.

I only know of three sites, Craigslist and two local band boards in the Maryland area. Thanks for any help. We had a killer vocalist who, for whatever reason decided to fade on us. Perhaps we were pushing him too hard. Who knows? I know....it's LSD. ( lead siinger's disease )

Any local music stores? Maybe put up an ad in each store within a 25 mile radius (or whatever your comfortable with)?

There was another thread about this up not too long ago. That's how I found out about bandmix.com.

Maybe check out the stickies or the FAQ or type some related terms into the Search window.

Excellent - Thanks guys. Seems like anyone worth any thing is already in a working act. It would be awesome if there was a resourse like talkbass for vocalists. I'm searching, perhaps I'll happen upon something good. If I do, I'll post it. Take care- DM

Does there exist a comprehensive list of these kind of sites?

Google brings up some, I've used quite a lot of the ones already mentioned but I really really dislike the ones that try to make you pay for the ability to send/receive email from bands/musician's advertised on the site. I find stuff like bandmix etc really annoying for that reason and always try and sneak my email addy onto my profile. Sort of like "If you were to assume I had a username 'whatever' and an email account with google then you can contact me".
