First Bar Gig Tonight!

Sign in to disble this ad
Well, if you're in Niagara Falls, by chance, come to see my band play tonight at 10:30!
We're playing at Jack's Cantina, on top of Clifton Hill.
okay, enough advertising.

We started jamming in June, and we've played one private party. We're a classic rock band, and this is our first bar gig. Most popular bar in the city, and all the other bar owners are gonna be there.

Wish me luck!

Hey guys.
We played awesome. HUGE turn out. We got booked for 5 more gigs in August before the drummer and myself go back to school.
We met a guy from Toronto who manages bands up here, he's going on tour next week across Canada with a band. He said he'd try to get a hold of us.

But, the gig went VERY well.

Glad to hear it. 5 more gigs, score! Do you have any pics?

- Dave

P.S. If you want to marry Emma Watson, you better get to it. Some guy on the IMDB message boards who calls himself "Reg1291" says *he's* going to marry her!

It's good to hear a positive score! Keeps us all in the game. Good work, and you get to repeat it 5 times!

Bass and flute ... quite the sonic range there

I notice the drummer didn't get the email that he was to wear a tie

But congrats, getting five gigs speaks louder than words. You guys obviously rocked!

aha we usually wear vests too.
We're called the suits.

But, the drummer left his clothes at home
he was really far back, and we were on a stage. People could hardly see him anyway.

Here's a quick little video of us playing "Can't You See"
I play flute for the intro.

http://www.facebook.com/video/video....oid=3431219344

I hope it works.

EDIT: you need facebook, AND the video thing on facebook.

I'm pumped!

hey.... your drummer reminds me a lot of some Beatle-era drummers: Johnny Hutch and of course Pete Best .. the biggest 'dead pans' in Liverpool. Great first gig, and congrats to you all too
