Free is good

Auditioned for a metal/punk band yesterday. During the audition I scored a free Peavey Milestone II in desperate need of TlC. Poor thing was gutted and the body abused with ugly paint complete with random bad stickers.

Aside from the bass I also got the job. We jammed solid for six hours. Went over everything I had (I tab everything I play for situations like this), Then we jamed to some of their stuff and a couple of covers. All going good.

My only gripe would be the lack of room in the practice space. Pretty much had to face our amps towards each other, corners touching in a V. That can be worked out though with some organizing and cleaning.
