gig swapping in the northeast

we've been advised to start taking our show on the road and i'm looking to swap some gigs in places within 3 or 4 hrs of NY.

we can hook you up with some pretty happening spots and are looking for the same. we're especially looking for all ages shows.

i'd also appreciate any helpful info on booking succesful out of town gigs. done oour share of empty houses on the road and want to try and avoid that this time around. thanks.

The CALL in Providence was a pretty good little place. played it a while ago.

The Met Cafe and Lupo's are pretty big, but good places to play, we talked to Dicky Lupo.

Newport is a pretty happening place in the SUMMER, the Blues Cafe and The Pelham East are right downtown.

Check the Providence Phoenix paper for the club listing there is a bunch more there in that area.
