This was at a "Steve Vai" show, yes? Then one must assume there was LOTS of guitar wanking all night long. So then they play one of Billy's songs that just happens to feature a bass showcase/lead. So what do they do? - add a guitar solo!! yeah! (can't leave out the lead guitar guy, no). Ok, we will give him that one - Billy's solo is still coming up. And here it is - as a guitar/bass duet!!
Jeez, can't you guitard "dudes" just shut up for 15 or 20 seconds every now and then?
Yes, Vai is awesome, and yes it was his show, but really, I bet there were one or two other opportunities for him to strut his stuff during the course of the evening. |
