Hey, we have 5 singers, at least 3 of which would benefit from in ear monitors (IEM). Right now our PA is a powered mixer that has a "headphone out" which is basically line out.
We also have 2 regular 8ch. mixers to use. I just run the "heaphone out" into the mixers, then run lines out of the mixer for headphones for singers. I want to do this, but use IEM's instead of headphones.
What I'm wondering is, how to get limiting on the IEMs? Can you just buy a limiter of some kind that would work for this? It's purely for protection, and the cheaper the better.
