| | | | How often do you gig? I was wondering who uses this website. How many days a week do you gig? I'm a recently retired teacher and play in 4 different bands and average 1-2 days a week (weekend warrior?). |

Usually july is my best month. I currently only have two gigs booked
So I guess I am now in the hobbiest category since I don't think three basses makes me a collector. |

With a full time career, a kid, a house and everything that goes along with it, that's WAY more than enough to keep me happy.
I don't know how others in my situation do more than that. More power to 'em!

Where are all the bands needing bassists in Dallas? When I was in a band, there were 10 ads a week looking for a good rock bass player. Now, all I see is ads for young guys (18-23), or a genre that I'm not interested in. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed, as well as putting myself out there.
