I made myself a ghetto PA system today!

We had a perfectly good pair of Sony house speakers ala 1980's in the garage. 80 watts @ 8 ohms.

I changed them over to 1/4 inch jacks, slapped them onto my cheapy Yorkville 150 watt powered mixer and voila! Ghetto PA!

I canny find the camera for pics but this thing is pretty cool for what it is.

Thats kinda ghetto.

When I started paying with my first band, I used the twin microphone inputs of my (large-70s) home stereo.
One for a vocal mic, and the other to amplify an electric guitar that I attempted to use as a bass.

Now thats ghetto!
