I must be crazy. I accepted a sub gig with a band that has no set list, doesn't rehearse and they don't use charts. I am really looking forward to it. I saw these guys play a couple of weeks ago and they are really good. I think I might be in over my head a little. Every one of these guys are playing in multiple bands and giging 3-4 times a week. I know that this will not work out to be a permanent spot but if I don't mess it up to badly it will lead to other gigs. For the most part they are playing 1 4 5 type stuff that I know I can handle its the other stuff that I am a little concerned about. I know I need to have Cissy Strut and Mercy Mercy Mercy worked out so I can solo if need be. I figure that if I can keep my ears open and keep an eye on the leader for cues I should be ok. Man this should be fun.
