It is the first headline

I really think I am going to give it a go. I don't care if I don't make it... as long as I know that I gave it all I got!

Some of the galloping is insanely fast... listen to Pure Evil.

So... who else wants to do it haha?

I saw this advertised on their myspace a little while back.

I'd love to be their bassist.
But I suck.

They'd have to pay me A LOT.

Not a fan.

Hell, if I could play anything besides Dark Saga & I Died For You, I would have loved to give it a shot!

If I would have seen this 3 months ago I totally would have gone for it. Hope some one from TB gets it.

Because they are two of the most simple basslines they do!

Plus there is probably no chance of me managing to gallop at high tempos.

Nifty.

Didn't Limp Bizkit try this a few years ago?

I'd do it in a heartbeat if I actually knew any of their songs. Pretty sure I'm no where near clean enough to get the gig though.

I'd be content being a 30yr old in a 40yr old band that tours a lot and makes a decent living playing the music they love.

What's the chances they run the auditions, get as much press coverage as possible about how they're giving their fans a chance to be part of the music, then announce that the new bass player is some guy they've know for years who was at the auditions hanging out with the band, but probably didn't play a note, cause he already knew he had the gig...

call me cynical!

On the other hand if it was a band I was into, I'd go for it, just for the fun of having gone and tried out.

The lead singers shop is about 45 minute south of me. How funny would it be if I just rolled in an ampeg stack and just started rocking in the middle of his store. He usually picks up Indianapolis musicians when he needs new band members. I know his new guitarist was a guy I know of around the scene. I know a couple guys in town who might be gunning for that spot.

The only reason I'd do this is so that hot chick I had a thing for in college would suddenly worship the ground I walk on because she's such a huge fan.

But now she's just really annoying, so I think I'll pass.
