Hi all,

In my highschool we have about 4-5 bands. The bands do not really talk to one another. I think it'd be a great idea to start a no name label, and put one of everyone's songs on it. I have 2 bands plus my own agreeing to it and I put my band's guitarists riff on that he made up. My question is, once I get a bunch of bands on this, how do you organise a show? I have a firestation by our school we can rent out. There is also a VFW to rent out. Would this be a good idea? Have any experience holding shows? I'd advertise it 3 months in advance in school and at the grocery market. Thanks.

The idea of the label is to get everyone to be friends and mingle, and have fun playing shows.

Since you all go to the same high school, why don't you check out the music and drama teachers for possible help. They should have experience in producing shows, and probably know some contacts in the community.
