Hey dudes,
We're here because we play in bands (or want to) - right?
I mean it's not ALL bass solos, ha ha
Well, POST THOSE LINKS to your websites, myspace pages, etc. with recordings (preferably live).
Here's my cover band (Unhinged):
www.unhingedrocks.com
It's got a recent live recording of a Metallica song.
Post those links!

Please tell us what kind of PA you are using since you posted this in the LIVE SOUND forum. You know the forum dealing with live sound reinforcement and PA systems.

That's a big question.
They have eight of those big JBL 2x18 front loaded subs across the front of the stage and eight (4 on each side) of those big JBL 2x12 with the massive horn and the smaller one with heavy steel mesh grilles on the sides. I have no idea what boards, amps, compressors, eq's etc. they used. Oh yeah, we used Audix and Shure mics for vocs. Don't know what mics we had for drums and amps. I did have a direct line though.
Sorry for the offense.
Where's the appropriate place for players to put links to their live music? I'll gladly move it or welcome a moderator to do so.

Sounds like someone thinks this should be moved to another area, but until it is....

All songs here were recorded "live" in our rehearsal space with no fixes. Fostex mixer, ADAT, 58s, 57s and whatnot, couple of LDC for overheads on drums, Alesis verb and compressors, and an ART compressor. It is what it is.

These were captured live at a festival, the audio here is from the camcorder mic. The short clip where we blow power is a fun one....

Here is our MySpace page. Material here is some of the same found on the sites above, but figured I'd include it if anyone wants to be our "friend".

Hear is the first song of the night with a little feedback thrown in just to keep it real. Possibly the worst room in the world for sound. Concrete floors next to a glass wall the length of the club. The PA consists of a Mackie 1604, dual 31 band EQ's, Quadraverb and 2 Behringer compressors. Powered by Crest amps pushing JBL 12/horn tops with Behringer subs loaded with EV speakers. This was recorded from the back of the room with a Boss digital recorder with built in mics. At the kickoff I had been up for close to 24 hours. Tough gig.

PA cabs are custom built, power is all Crown, FOH desk is Midas, Monitor desk is SoundCraft (I think).

The video is from a FujiFilm F20
The sound is from a Zoom H2
