| Looking for bass riff ideas

my band does a sort of disco medley -- one part, we do about 1/2 of Turn the Beat Around...if you know the song, its got a sort of rolling drum solo part and the bass does a kind of dull, modification of the main riff.
I was looking for some ideas of a famous bass riff I could toss in there instead that would work on this song, it's speed and almost salsa like rhythm.
Any ideas?
