That my friend is the most concise OP I have seen on this forum. You are to be applauded.

This thread isn't that long..

But per the topic, about 7 years ago I accidentally cut off my index finger. Luckily it was re-attached, but I couldn't touch a bass for two years.. 4 years after I picked it up again, I am not even close to the same.

Frustrating indeed.

OUCH!

Or perhaps a cartoon like "The Emperor's New Groovey Threads...

Anyway, to task...

I too had an injury that was damn painful and inconvenient - NOTHING like losing a finger mind you, but... I flew back from Scotland with a sinus issue going on. Two days after getting back, my right ear drum ruptured from internal pressure. OUCH! Yeah...and I couldn't hear properly for about 2 months. This was right in the middle of writing and arranging music for our first album!

Sorry all, my apologies, I take full blame.

I wanted to open a new one, as the original thread was indeed very (too) long.Did not want to bothe ryou all, but I guess I did anyway.

Maybe this can be the "major injuries" thread. Post your injuries here.
