Making ads that attract more instrumentalists...

Sign in to disble this ad
I have recently placed an ad (this one: http://losangeles.craigslist.org/wst/tlg/793002283.html) to promote the open spots I have in my band lineup.

Personally I think there is nothing wrong with it, and there isn't... seeing how many replies I have gotten. There is one problem though, every offer I received are from vocalists (you could not image how many lingerie model/vocalists want to sing in rock bands).

I was wondering if there is some way I could augment my ad to attract more Drummers and Guitarists.

Thanks in advance.

Not to attract less vocalists (regardless of how "well-endowed" they are), but more Guitarists and Drummers.

Put what's most important first. If you're most in need of a drummer, the title should read "Hard Rock Band looking for Drummers, Guitarists and Vocalists in LA" Same with the ordering within the ad itself. You'd be surprised how much little things can change response.

Then again, it might just be the overabundance of prima donna karaoke stars in LA.

I shall try that, but the latter may be the most likely culprit
