Mercenary Snobs Club

Hey all, this club is for guys who only join established, working bands and shun start-ups. Let's show our love for sliding into a working project without having to slog through all the start-up hassles!

YEAH!!

Take your own number, any except #1, it's already taken.

There are start-ups, and then there are start-ups. It all depends on the pedigrees of those starting things up. If you aren't a known quantity around the local community of established players, I'll just as soon wait until you are.

I almost wanted a number, but then I realized that this club isn't established enough for me

I need to wait and see if this thread gets some consistent bookings. I get the feeling there won't be any paid gigs from this......

Look, I think this thread has potential, but the OP is just bringing it down. I know a great OP that's looking for a side project.

I'm in if you dump the original OP, and go with my buddy.

Looks like there are some "known quantities" in this thread, but I'll pass. I was a mercenary for too long playing in bands for the dough, with no care for what the music was. Besides, I'm now in two start-up projects. No drama yet.

i can take a number as long as it doesn't conflict with any of my other clubs; sorry, but they come first.

You guys are funny.

(By the way, there's a much better OP putting a project together a few pages over. PM me for his number and we'll talk. Shhhhhh.)

Cough! Where was I? Oh yeah. You guys are a trip!

I won't even touch my keyboard for less than $10 a post.

Actually, I like typing but you gotta pay me to move my keyboard and mouse around.

BTW, I won't be able to make the next few posts as I have a higher paying thread. No worries, I know a few competent posters who can fill in.

But those showcase threads and battle of the posts threads are gonna be great for "exposure."

I've never been in one that I didn't leave for a better gig.
