Motorhead discusses Touring and what it takes to have a band.

Motorhead

I was watching this and felt it fit in this forum. It's solid advice I think from some very genuine people who have done it for a very long time. As always with these guys there is some abrasive language, but if your here you probably knew that.

Very high on my alltime favorite list as well.

#1 on interviewing. Lemmy is in my opinion the last bastion of the real rockstar. Hard living and constant touring shapes the music in a different way. A way long forgotten in our scared and safe culture today.

+1. Lemmy is the coolest mother on the planet. I don't agree with everything he says or does, but he's so damn real, honest, and chill.

If you haven't see the Lemmy documentary, it's a must-watch.

What is the Lemmy Documentary called, because there are only about 50 or so Lemmy interviews, and about 15 motorhead docs online (I exaggerate but only slightly)?

Actually met him once at a little out of the way hole-in-the-wall bar in Raleigh NC long ago when they were doing a 2 night show at the RBC center. Was just him and some other guy sitting there having a drink. My GF saw him first and said "That's f'n Lemmy!" I turned around and sure enough it was him. Chatted for a minute, got a couple autographs and away we went. One thing though, he had some horrible B.O.! Haha....guy smelled like he hadn't taken a shower in a month.

Trying to stay clean on the road is tought. If I was a man in my 80's I wouldn't even bother.
