need help creating a setlist

Heya all,

I'm having trouble putting a setlist together and i thought i'd ask y'all. im looking to put together a setlist for an upcoming gig (its for a b-day party, nuttin major)

but the songs that i was really looking along the lines of was songs like "wild cherry - play that funky music"

the most important aspect i was looking at was crowd participation, that is songs that people really know and want to sing to.

From a bassplayers perspective i dont mind any song however simple the bassnote maybe... so lets have em..

Our lineup is
1 female singer
1 guitarist
1 drummer
and me, bassplayer.

My suggestion: Go see some local bands and see what is going over in your area. Material is pretty dependent on demographics - area, age of audience, etc.
