Ummmm think I am going to have to back out of this one....getting together with some of the guys tonight to watch the Canadiens - Leafs hockey game and to try and improve my booze holding skills, which have been suffering lately from lack of practice.

Staggers & Jags, and soon with another group of guys I can't mention as their bass player hasn't left yet.

I was kidding about being the best by the way...

Awesome.

Halifax is full of amazing talent, and it's also full of hot-air heads who think their killer, Pearl-Jam-REM-Pumpkins-Coheed super tight awesome!! band is totally gonna make it and be the next Sloan and be totally huge.

Just like every other city in the world.

Also, I'm pretty sure I know the best drummers in the city, and I don't think this guy has any of them

With Staggers & Jags, we've mostly been playing at the Spitfire in Windsor, plus Bedford Yacht Club and Finbar's in Bedford, but the other guys - likely Monte's in Dartmouth for sure, they have a couple other ones booked in May - not sure where - I actually haven't played with them yet, Tuesday night is my first run through.

Haha... probably not... my gigging and rehearsal schedule is pretty full atm, mixing a record at the same time.

But it would be funny, I'm sure. No doubt I'll hear them eventually, the Rock Garden seems to have a lot of bands like this in their rehearsal rooms (we have our monthly room there).

This sounds just like a guy I know from the Halifax area. I wouldn't be surprised at all if it's the same person haha. Some people just have a knack for making player wanted adds.

It's actually pretty close! Ok, not really.

I really love that the ad is all in capitals. It makes me feel as though he's yelling at me.

I think I would have expected a 28 year old person to write something remotely intelligent, not use all caps, and refrain from using terms frequented by rocker kids and emo cry babiezz.

Just my opinion.
