Well one guy can drive but doesn't have a car. And the other guy just got a DUI.
Just to throw another turd into the fan, the engine on my rig is doing some SERIOUS knocking.
Good times...

Make sure you change your oil.
I suppose you can all take walks together too......you could hum your parts. Might be a hit.

Bummer, I say! It gets old being the designated driver 100% of the time. Been there. |

The band I play with has been thru 3 guitards in the 7 months we have been together. 2 had no license the latest one has no house. Wow, guitar players! And apparently it goes without saying that our drummer has no license as well. All DUI related. ROCK AND ROLL!! \m/ ^_^ \m/ I always knew us "bassturds" were the normal ones.

We rock the house and get a lot of work, so it's a pretty sweet trio in other aspects. But I can't lie: even 1/3 ride-dependent was a significant pain in the a$$.

Good times... | i know the feeling.the drummer in my band has no transport, money or a job but expects everybody to run around after him.he offers no petrol money buys no rounds down the pub and he makes me wait(10-20mins) when i pick him up.i don't suffer fools gladly so he's in for a surprise this week.

Just kidding. |

It was a cheesy hard rock cover band, and some nights, the extra money brought my take all the way up to $15 or so.
Those were NOT the good old days... |

Those were NOT the good old days... | yup,and if you are the guy that transports the gear you should already receive extra for that.....if you can, streamline the process by meeting up at one place, and arrange so everyone loads/unloads the gear etc.........

Seriously I won't work with people who can't get themselves from point A-B. Part of being a serious musician is not just having gear but also owning a vehicle to transport it in. Oh yeah and staying sober for the drive home.
