Stumbled across this gem just before, thought you guys might enjoy it. I eagerly await a reply to my application.. think I'll land the gig? I have no personality, do not have any creative ideas, and best of all, I can carry a tune like nobodies business ()

Bass Guitarist able to share lead vox and harmonise for original rock band.

Songs written ready to go. Needs to be able to commit. Age must be 18 - 24yo. We have Pro management with the RITE contacts. We WILL be presenting to labels over the next couple months. We need YOU if your up for it, like our stuff and are willing to be part of a serious unit to do the job required. This will NOT be a vehicle for YOUR stuff, we need PLAYERS that are flexible, good characters and most of all can play and sing like a motherf*C&Er!

Sure ... why not? But if someone treats me like an employee, then I act like one. "Where's my pay cheque, and when is our next break?"

Haha, I agree with you. I just cannot see why somebody would want to join a band like this... its session work, and I imagine that there wouldn't be a steady pay check until "we change the face of music with our new record". Oh well, each to his own hey?

Seems like a reasonable gig. At least they're putting it out there right from the start. Better that than finding out the band isn't what you signed up for when you're a few months in.

Hopefully with spellchecker as well.

Actually, I give them mild applause for being upfront with where they are at. The situation they describe (you get zero creative input/expression) seems common, but usually is hidden.
