It's kinda tough to read, maybe it's the white on white.

I like the flame/wing thing.

I'm not a fan of the treble clef, but other than that it looks good. maybe lower the opacity on the graphics, to help the text look more recognizable.

It's good looking, but probably hard to use in many ways (reductions, b&w printing etc), Do you have versions for alternative uses (other than full colour big sized)?

Nice!
I would get rid of the G-clef and enlarge the lettering...and center it all the way across..with a different color font.

Fax it.. reduce it.. print it in low DPI.. send it out for line printing.. throw it on a copier (you do know you can't copy red - correct?)... have a print shop try to do it for a bass drum logo or poster.

I intend this as helpful.. for what we use logos for - this doesn't work.

I like it -- just very limiting and dated from the beginning.

As awesome as those flaming wings look, the text is hard to read IMO.

EXTREMELY cheesy IMO, looks like a bad photoshop mockup. Besides that it would be nearly impossible to apply to almost any format other than a myspace banner. If you ask me (which you just did) I would say to go back to the drawing board.

I don't want to sound politically correct here, but I imagine his concern is more about practical usage of the logo than its particular style.

Even because it would be otherwise impossible to post any "what-do-you-think-of-my-band" threads around here, given every poster personal taste.

Not that the OP should be offended about your comment - he knows that's your personal opinion - but I think the comment could have been made in a more constructive manner.

OK, I am being terribly PC, but you get it. And, anyway, if the logo does not suit your style, you can always face it with a sense of play.

I'm no graphic artist but it looks cool to me. I guess you're playing some type of emo-rock, high drama, lyrics about the most important things in life, big drums, etc. I did not realize that the "B" symbol was a "B". I thought the name was "Dieter Aethge".

Listened to some tracks and it sounds pretty close to what I guessed from the image, so that works. (I mean, it's not flaming wings and a big wide logo for a polka band )

I would change the font or pitch of the text. Just to make it stand out more from the artwork/background. Overall though, I dig it.

I own a marketing and design business and I would suggest changing the text as well. The white letters on the yellow flame wings are very hard to read. Also, what is the red object in the middle? Is that supposed to be a heart? If so, it does not look like one. The letter "B" should not be in a completely different type font and size from the other letters. It actually appears more to look as Dieter & Aethge.

An instantly recognizable logo that is easy to read and attractive is a very valuable marketing tool for merchandising as well as all band materials.

Good luck.
