Original band name?

My band can't decide on a name and our first gig is less than a month away. Any original ideas? We play modern and classic rock.

it really is true, almost every name you will initially think of will be taken. Just brainstorm a tonna cool ideas and use the best one that isn't taken. google the name with "band" or "tour dates" behind it to see if it's taken. Spoiler: it will be. But unless it's on itunes or under a major record label, it doesn't really matter. Heck, even my name, Push Button Four, was taken, but it was by some failing ska band from the early 2000s with like 200 views so it doesn't matter

You weren't kidding! I just tried this and both my favorite names were taken! Craps.

Eddy Glee.

Switching the letters in the names of famous people seems like a popular trend right now (Bustin Jieber, Cleric Apton).

Try something like
http://www.bandnamemaker.com/
(Other random band name generators are also available)

Some results are good; I rather like -
Balanced For Uranium
Some are a bit more rubbish -
Drastic Shutup And The Intense Anywhere
...or maybe not.

Also useful for generating lyric ideas and song titles.

Just take some random words from a language like Greenland - no one will know what t mean so you can be radical.
