Oh yeah, if you're in Texas do lots of Kevin Fowler! Pound Sign and Long Line Of Losers are also great singalong party songs.

I'll throw one more out - "Una Mas Cerveza". Just make the arrangement a bit more energetic.

And if you have a vocalist who can pull it off, do some Colt Ford too.

I'm currently in the market for a band, and I'm gearing up to audition with a country act. I like my country more "old school," but I'm digging a lot of the stuff that I'm learning. I especially like Chicken Fried. I love how the bass line tricks you at first into thinking that it's a swing, and then it goes into a root-5th thing...and even has a ballady part in the first couple of verses. The bass player and drummer really do some tasteful stuff in that tune.
